Tirupur: On behalf of the Tirupur City Police and the City Prohibition Enforcement Police, an awareness program on the dangers of using illicit drugs was held at the old bus stand.
The meeting was held at the Corporation Junction and Pushpa Junction under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Rajkumar.
During the event, the anti-prohibition police distributed leaflets to motorists to create awareness among the public about the dangers of drinking alcohol.
Also, a sticker with a toll-free number for the public to report complaints about counterfeit liquor and drugs was pasted on the vehicles.
