Coimbatore: Vijayakumar (51) is working as a General Manager at Santosh Motors on Avinashi Road, Chinniyampalayam, Coimbatore. When the company's accounting files were checked a few days ago, it was revealed that the motor parts were sold in large quantities and the money was not credited to the company’s bank account.
Subsequently, Varadarajan, a resident of Coimbatore Light House Road, who was working as the store in-charge of the company, was interrogated. It was then discovered that he had sold motor parts worth about Rs. 16,30,000 to various persons and had not paid the money into the company's account.
Following this, Vijayakumar lodged a fraud complaint at the Peelamedu police station. Police have registered a case against Varadarajan under (Indian Penal Code) IPC 408 and 420 and are conducting an investigation.
