Coimbatore: A library has been set up at the DIG's office at Race Road, Coimbatore for the use of the police and office staff.

Coimbatore Deputy Commissioner of Freight Police Muthusamy told reporters at the event, "We have set up this library with the help of private urban charities. This library is the first of its kind in Tamil Nadu.”
He added, "As the Kodanad case is under investigation we cannot talk about it. The nature of the investigation will affect the next phase of the investigation. However all that can be said is that the Kodanad investigation is in full swing.
