Communist Party of India State Secretary R Mutharasan met reporters at the ‘Jeeva Illam’ in Coimbatore. The secretary stated that the CPI All India Conference will be held in Vijayawada for five days from October 18, 2022, and a preview will be held for three days with the national committee members at Peelamedu in January. In the preview meeting, the reports to be finalized at the conference will be decided.
Later, accusing the Modi-led regime at the Centre of being anti-democratic, he said various laws in Parliament were being passed based on the preferences of the RSS. Mutharasan stated that Modi should have resigned over the repeal of the three Agri laws and quoted, “Rajaji had resigned as he was opposed for trying to bring in a clan education programme in Tamil Nadu”.
He also alleged that the minister who staged the massacre in Lakhimpur has not yet stepped down despite the apex court’s inspection committee stating that 8 people had died in the incident.
Further the secretary stated that the small and marginal industries have been paralyzed by rising raw material prices, people’s faith in courts has diminished, Courts have become a subsidiary of the RSS contrary to the Constitution. He condemned the police attack on the trade union and the employees during the Sriperumbudur Boxcon employee protest. Adding that soft handling must not be uptaken, Mutharasan stated that he supported DMK in terms of principles for opposing communalism.

He criticized the Modi government as a fascist state like Hitler’s and said he did not care if he is charged for the comment. Questioning why Former Minister Rajendra Balaji should hide if he was not guilty, he said there was no need for him to hide nor, the police should delay
He said the fishermen of Tamil Nadu were suffering and said the Centre should explain whether the fishermen from the state be addressed as ‘Indian Fishermen’ or not. Criticizing the Centre for being a government for not protecting the fishermen here, he demanded that the lot has to be provided with guns for self-defense.
It has condemned the reservation of education and nurses in search of a home-check this line-unclear in draft
