Coimbatore: The Hethai Amman Temple Festival of the Badaga community in Kotagiri, Nilgiris District is being celebrated on December 22. A local public holiday has been declared for all State Government offices, schools and colleges in the district on Wednesday, ahead of the festival. Also, the district administration has issued an order declaring Saturday, January 8 as a working day to compensate for this holiday.
