Congress has filed a complaint seeking the arrest of BJP Minority Wing National Secretary, Vellore Ibrahim, under the Information Technology Act for his derogatory remarks against Rahul Gandhi on Facebook.
Coimbatore: The Congress party has lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner demanding action against Vellore Ibrahim, the National Secretary of the BJP's Minority Wing, for posting derogatory remarks against the former All India Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, on social media.
In their complaint, the Congress has stated that Vellore Ibrahim had posted derogatory remarks on his Facebook page on December 13 about Rahul Gandhi, a Member of the Parliament and former All India leader of the Congress party. They lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner seeking the arrest of Vellore Ibrahim, under the Information Technology Act.
