The railway staff has repaired all the four places where landslides occurred. The mountain train was not running due to occasional rain. However, the railway department has decided to run the mountain train from the 22nd evening onwards, for the holiday season.
Nilgiris: The landslide occurred on the mountain railway line on the 4th and 5th due to heavy rains in and around Coonoor in the Nilgiris district. The Mettupalayam Coonoor Hill train service was suspended from November 6 due to falling rocks.
