Coimbatore: Young Indians (Yi) Coimbatore Chapter part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore Zone during its 17 th annual session held on Friday, announced its new Chair and Office bearers for the year 2022.
Shrikumaravelu S, Managing Partner, Tekmak Industrials, has been appointed as the Chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter for the year 2022. And, Ashwin Manohar, Proprietor, Associated Engineering Traders has been appointed as the Co-Chair.
An alumni of PSG College of Technology, the new Chair of Yi is a third generation entrepreneur from Coimbatore and currently runs his family business along with Tekmak Industrials that supplies machined steel components. With masters in Mechatronics from Germany, Shrikumaraveku joined Yi in the year 2015 and contributed to many initiatives including Gift An Organ, Healthy Kovai and Coimbatore Vizha.
And, the newly appointed co-chair Ashwin Manohar is the Sole-Proprietor of Associated Engineering Traders which is a distribution firm of industrial consumable products. He is an engineer from Coimbatore Institute of Technology. He joined Yi in the year 2015 and has been actively involved in various Initiatives. He has been part of Yi International Learning missions to Vietnam, Israel and South Korea and regional missions to Pune and Madurai. He has been in Executive Committee representing Branding, Membership and currently serving as a Chair for Coimbatore Vizha, been a core team member of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Learning, Engagement and Sports verticals.
