The S. T. R. aircraft can carry a maximum of 70 passengers. On the first day, the plane arrived at 6.20 pm from Tirupati to Coimbatore, with 26 people on board and took off again at 6.40 pm for Tirupati with 30 passengers on board.
Airport officials stated that the number of passengers boarding this flight will increase in the future, though it was just a small number who travelled on the first run.
