Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Urban Health Support Program (TNUSSP) held a seminar on Thursday on how to convert human solid waste into compost at a private hotel on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore.

G S Sameeran, the Coimbatore District Collector said, "I am a little curious to see the lecture on how to convert human solid waste into compost. Thoughts on various scientific researches have changed. If this plan is implemented, it will have a positive impact on social security, health, hygiene and education in a variety of ways."
