Coimbatore: The Campus Front of India has filed a petition at the Coimbatore District Collectorate seeking action against educational institutions that provide religious training on campus. In their petition, they stated that "RSS organizations have been conducting training classes on campus for the past few days in Coimbatore to incite religious hatred among students." They demanded to know how the Tamil Nadu Government and the district administration could allow the RSS to conduct such training.

The petition also demanded that the District Collector should ban the RSS training classes being held in a private college. They urged that appropriate action should be taken against educational institutions that allow such religious training and also warned that students and public would rally together and stage a protest against the RSS.
