Coimbatore: The district collectorate was in a hubbub on Wednesday as a couple arrived at the place with all their household items and staged dharna stating the husband’s brother issued troubles to the family.

In a strange state of affairs, a family from the Marudhamalai area arrived at the Collectorate with household items due to family problems and staged a dharna seeking solution.

Karuppaswamy and Lakshmi, a couple from the Marudhamalai Balaji Nagar area, came to the district Collectorate with bureaus, tables and utensils from their house and sat inside the premises and staged a dharna.

Reportedly, Karuppasamy’s brother bothered the family, broke all the belongings in the house, and burnt down the hut, ruining important documents like the Aadhaar card.

They lamented that their children’s education was being affected and demanded that the District Collector immediately intervene and offer a solution.

The officials in the collectorate are interrogating them.
Following this, the security guards removed the mini door vehicles.
