As part of the foundation stone laying ceremony, the pole was planted on Wednesday at the venue in Chettipalayam for the Jallikattu festival.
The DMK East District in-charge Senathipathi presided over the pole planting ceremony for Jallikattu.
It is announced that the bull-taming festival will be hosted on January 9, 2022, on behalf of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) at Chettipalayam Bypass Road. Earlier pujas were performed and a stone was planted.
The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Senathipathi, DMK East District, Coimbatore. More than 30 DMK members participated.
