Police arrested Issaki Muthu (41) of Udumalai Malayandipattinam village and Marimuthu (42) of Tirunelveli for selling fake beedies without obtaining a patent. A bundle of beedis worth about Rs 10 lakh was confiscated from them.
Coimbatore: Police received complaints that fake No. 10 beedis are sold in the Udumalai vicinity. Following this, the police conducted a raid in a car shed in Udumalai Saradhamani Layout on Tuesday.
