District Forest Officer announced that 4 groups daily comprising 150 people in each group will be sent into the Kovai Courtallam tourist spot daily.
Coimbatore: Tourists are overjoyed that Kovai Courtallam tourism will reopen from tomorrow, December 14 since the water levels have dropped. Tourists had been banned from visiting Kovai Courtallam since October 4 due to floods caused by continuous rains.
District Forest Officer, Ashok Kumar stated, “Those wishing to visit Kovai Courtallam should pay a fee and make a reservation at https://coimbatorewilderness.com/. We plan to send such visitors in groups of 4 daily. 150 people will be allowed from 9 am to 9.30 am, from 10.30 am to 11.00 am, from 12 noon to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm."
