Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu state-level carrom competition for seniors will be held on December 18 and 19 in Ariyalur, while the state-level carrom competition for juniors and youth will be held in Sivakasi from December 22 to 24. The Tirupur District Carrom Sports Association held a district-level carrom tournament in Tirupur's Thennampalayam on Sunday to select the qualifiers for the state-level competitions.
The tournament was held for both senior, junior and youth categories and was attended by 135 students including students from different parts of the district. The Tirupur District Carrom Association stated that the best players will be awarded prizes and selected for the state-level competitions.
