Coimbatore: The advocates in CBA have unanimously announced that they will boycott all works relating to the Lok Adalat, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 11th December.
In the CBA Coimbatore Bar Association general meeting held on Friday,th advocates have unanimously decided to stay away from all the works related to the Lok Adalat, that is to be held tomorrow.
The following resolutions were passed stating,
“1. On the basis of the order issued by the EC Court Justice, Logeswaran, on 09.11.2021, Coimbatore was not only mean, undignified, and contrary to the law but he also made false and defamatory remarks against the union s to discredit the union functionaries, the Executives of our Association met the Judges of madras high court on 23rd November and filed a written complaint seeking appropriate departmental action against the judge of the above.
Following the inaction, the advocates of the association will stay away from the works of Lok Adalat to be held on, 11.12.2021. A unanimous resolution was passed that lawyers should stay away completely.
2. The Advocates will stay away from EC Court works until the Madras High Court takes appropriate Departmental Action against the Coimbatore EC Court Judge N.Logeswaran”, stated the CBA Secretary
