The Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan visited the MRC Complex in Coonoor and paid her tributes to CDS Chief Bipin Rawat and the 12 deceased in the Coonoor chopper crash.
The Nilgiris: Pondicherry Lieutenant Governor and Telangana Governor, Tamilisai Soundararajan paid personal tributes to the bodies of 13 soldiers that were kept at the Regimental Centre for the Madras Regiment (MRC) in Wellington.

An IAF helicopter carrying Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat crashed in Katteri area near Coonoor, in Nilgiris on Wednesday afternoon. His wife Madhulika Rawat and 11 other army officials were also killed in the crash.
The bodies of all the 13 were placed at MRC for paying last respects.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin and other Ministers paid their tributes to the deceased on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government.

Telangana Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry Tamilisai Soundararajan also paid her personal tributes to the deceased.
Talking to the media later, the Pondy Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said, "The death of the CDS General is heart-wrenching and I am here in Ooty to pay homage to him. As a doctor, I visited Varun the pilot who is undergoing treatment. His internal organs are functioning smoothly. The doctors are working hard to restore him back to health. Discussions on shifting the pilot to another hospital are also in progress.
