Coimbatore: A couple who arrived at the Coimbatore Collectorate with diesel can create a stir in the premises.
Muthumari-Ganesan, a couple from Madurai has been staying in Madukkarai Marapalam for the past 10 years and have been producing and selling readymade compounds, septic tanks. Kalimuthu of Thirumalayamplayam was employed to them.
He reportedly got ₹ 13,000 and quit saying he was going to work alone. However, when Ganesan demanded the money back, Kalimuthu has allegedly attacked Ganesan along with a ten-member gang last Sunday and had attacked Ganesan’s son too. The attacker has also allegedly abused and threatened the family to leave the place stating they were migrants.
The couple arrived at the District Collectorate with a diesel can stating no action has been taken despite their complaints at the Madukkarai police station.
They were fortunately stopped by the police on duty and were taken to meet the collector.
