Coimbatore: DMK president Stalin should apologize for not using the thiruneeru given to him during Thevar Jayanthi and thereby insulting the sentiments of Mukkulathor people, said MLA and president of Mukkulathor Puli Padai Karunas in Coimbatore.
Karunas said this while speaking to reporters at a private hotel on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore. Speaking at the time, he accused DMK leader Stalin of insulting the sentiments of Mukkulathor on the Thevar Jayanthi day. He said that Stalin should apologize for this and protests would be held until he does so.
He also said that a decision on alliance would be taken at the time of the election and that he would ask for more seats in the forthcoming election. He added that he would not support the AIADMK if the party does not give his party more seats to contest the election.
He said he would be a bulwark for Sasikala in any situation and that social justice would be safeguarded on Tamil soil even if a hundred more parties like BJP came.
