Coimbatore: The Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT) has won the Anna University Zone X Kabaddi tournament for men, organised by the Sri Krishna College of Technology, at the college premises on Thursday.

More than 20 teams from various colleges competed for the trophy in which NIT came out victorious. In the final battle between NIT and Rathinam College of Technology, NIT sealed Rathinam with a healthy margin of 13 points (42-29) to lift the trophy.
Meanwhile in the other match for deciding the third place, JCT College of Engineering and Technology won a cliff hanger against the host (SKCT) by 3 points to secure the third place in the tournament (23-20).
Dr. M Lakshmi, Principal of Sri Krishna College of Technology along with C Mariselvam, Physical Director of SKCT presented the trophy and certificates to the winners. S Malarvizhi, the Managing Trustee of SKCT, congratulated the winners.
