Coimbatore : The PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) leads the table in the women's category of the Bharathiar university inter-collegiate chess competition, hosted by Dr. R V Arts and Science College, Karamadai today.
Coimbatore : The PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) leads the table in the women's category of the Bharathiar university inter-collegiate chess competition, hosted by Dr. R V Arts and Science College, Karamadai today.
The four-day chess tournament kick started today and will end on September 28. Around 42 college teams competed today, in which PSG CAS gained a lead with 10 at the end of 6 rounds. The women's team and singles events are being held on the first two days of the tournament and the men's competitions will take place from September 27 onward.
The tournament was inaugurated by Lucy Mary, Principal of SRSI Matric School, along with C Thiruppathi, Physical Director, Dr. R.V Arts and Science College.
