Coimbatore: A class four student in the city has created a new record by rotating a two-and-a-half kg sword for three hours continuously.

In this scenario, in order to preserve the dying traditional arts, boys and girls in the city of Coimbatore continue to set a world
record in Tamil traditional arts.
Following this, Sanjeevi, who is the daughter of Karthik and Lavanya, a couple from the city has made everyone proud by setting India Book of World Records by rotating a 2.5-kg sword shield for 3 hours, 9 minutes and 5 seconds.
Three branches of Book of world record including India, American and European have recognised this feat.
The champion in swordsmanship is felicitated with a medal, a certificate and a shield.
