The matches were held in front of the Adiyogi at the Isha campus from December 31 to January to 8. A total of 29 teams in the men's volleyball competition and 8 teams in the women's throwball competition participated, all of whom are from the villages surrounding Thondamuthur.
Coimbatore: In a concerted effort to raise awareness on soil conservation, various sports events were conducted by Isha Outreach for rural youth in the 'Save Soil Trophy' tournaments. About 400 young sportsmen and women participated in events including volleyball and throwball.

The men's volleyball team from the village of Mathuvarayapuram won the first place, while the second place was secured by the Devarayapuram village team.

The first place in the throwball competition was won by the team from Pullakoundanputhur and the second place was secured by the team from Devarayapuram.

The winning teams were presented with the winning trophy and prize money, by Ikkarai Boluvampatty President Sadanandam.
