Achievers Speed Skating Academy won the overall championship in Coimbatore district by winning more than 25 medals at the Coimbatore District Roller Skating Championship 2022, held in Pollachi. The Championship was conducted by the Coimbatore District Skating Association.
Himanshu Bohra won a gold and two silver medals at the Championship. He participated in the 9 to 11 years JUNIORS category. He won the Gold Medal in the Rink 1 Lap Race (200 Mts.), a Silver Medal in the Road 1 Lap (200 Mts.) and another Silver in the Rink 5 Lap Race (1000 Mts). Himanshu Bohra has now been selected for the State Championship 2022 to represent Coimbatore District.
P Thangadurai, the Senior Coach congratulated the medal winners and encouraged them to keep putting in their maximum efforts for the State and National Selection skating events.
