With a total of 16 teams participating this year the tournament offered all the participants a fun filled day of cricket with witty commentary, music and a prize money of Rs 1.7 lakhs.
Coimbatore: On behalf of Coimbatore Acme Round Table #133, a cricket tournament was held at Kumaraguru College of Technology grounds to raise funds for deserving government school infrastructure and developments.
Coimbatore Acme Round Table 133 a chartered table of Round Table India, in a span of 27 years have completed various projects to benefit the less privileged children, brothers and sisters in our society.
With enabling freedom through education being their mantra, they have constructed more than 100 classrooms benefitting around 4,000 students in and around Coimbatore.
In addition to this Coimbatore Acme Round Table does various community services like donating limbs for the needy people, blood donations, go green projects, sanitation projects like building individual toilet blocks in houses by adopting villages, setting up self employment opportunities for differently abled people. The table has also contributed covid care supplies to various hospitals.
In a press release it is mentioned that, "This was the 5th year that the Gully Kings tournament was conducted successfully. The 'Gully Kings' is a Cricket tournament aimed at providing a fun filled day of cricket to the corporates, associations and college students.

This year NMS global and Sabol teams played the finals. The winner for this year was NMS Global and runners were Sabol team."

The event was inaugurated by Tr Pradeep Rajappa, Area 7 Chairman and Tr Vishnu Prabhakar, Area vice Chairman in the presence of Table Chairman Tr Siddharth Ramesh, Vice Chairman Tr Praveen Raj, Secretary Tr Subash, Treasurer Tr Karthik Kumar, Immediate Past Chairman Tr Ashok Kumar, Convenors Tr Vidhyaadharan and Tr Venkat Viswas."
