Jones was in Mumbai, as part of IPL official broadcaster's commentary panel. The 59-year-old Australian cricketer and famed commentator was reported to be doing fine before he collapsed of a massive cardiac arrest.
According to reports, at around 11 am, after his breakfast, Jones attended a briefing session for the day's IPL broadcast. As he was conversing with his colleagues in the corridors of the hotel, he collapsed.
He was rushed in a standby ambulance to the Harkisandas Hospital in the city where the doctors informed he was brought dead.
