Coimbatore : Indian Air Force (IAF) from New Delhi registered their second win of the season, as they went through Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) at the All India basketball tournament for PSG Trophy ongoing at at PSG Indoor sports complex here on Saturday.
Coimbatore : Indian Air Force (IAF) from New Delhi registered their second win of the season, as they went through Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) at the All India basketball tournament for PSG Trophy ongoing at at PSG Indoor sports complex here on Saturday.
Having won the first game of the season, dominant IAF men were started slow and were 8 points behind KSEB at the end of first quater (12-32). In the second quarter, IAF managed to get closer to KSEB and were just two points behind the opponent.
It was in the third quarter where IAF pounced into the game and scored 25 in 10 minutes that gave them 13 points lead at the end of the third quater. Ajay Hooda was the hero of the game, scoring 27 points for his team making the task easier.
Though KSEB scored 20 points in the final quater, things went in IAF's way resulting to a 74-62 win over KSEB in their second game of prestigious PSG Trophy.

Result: IAF defeats KSEB by 8 points.

Similarly in the second match of the day, Income Tax defeated RCF by 99-86. Sivabalan of Income tax scored 29 points to take home victory, while Indian Army registered their second win by defeating Indian Navy by 90-67. Jithandhar Singh scored 16 points for Indian Army.
