Coimbatore: Karunya Service Center is functioning in Valparai area of Coimbatore district. Development work for women at the center is supported through the Post Covid-19 program, which provides housing, education, small business training, livelihood training for young people, scholarship for the needy and medical facilities in 10 estate areas.
Fifty six driving licenses were issued at the Karunya Community Center. Sister Anila Mathew Director Karunya Community Center and Tahsildhar of Valparai Kumar presided over the function. On the occasion, 56 youths were issued driving licenses. Tahsildhar of Valparai Kumar and Father Shaji Marina of St. Luke's Church handed over the licenses to the youth. The event was attended by Dhanalakshmi Valparai Driving Training Office Meena and Karunya Community Center Officer Daisy Bindu.
