Coimbatore: As the abnormal price hike of raw materials and various other issues has badly hit the MSME sector. All industry Associations across India under 'AICA'(All India Council of MSMEs) have decided to close down all MSME industry units across India on December 20, Monday. Also they have decided to protest in front of the Collectorate on the same day.
The 'AICA' council has also decided to organize a press meet on December 15 (Wednesday) across India. Industry Associations in Coimbatore such as Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry(ICCI), Coimbatore. The Southern India Engineering Manufacturers Association (SIEMA), Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), The Institute of Indian Foundrymen(IIF), Coimbatore chapter and various others are part of this 'AICA' team.
Information regarding this has been widely circulated in India. More than 50,000 MSME industry units in Coimbatore will participate in this closure and protest.
