Coimbatore: Coronavirus infection is gradually increasing in Coimbatore. In Coimbatore district, 130 people were affected by coronavirus yesterday.

As a result, the number of coronavirus infections in the district has risen to 2,50,681. A total of 113 people were treated at the Coimbatore government and private hospitals and have recovered. Along with them, 2,46,926 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the district so far and returned home.
An 80-year-old woman who was treated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital has succumbed and so far 2,471 people have died of coronavirus infection in the district. Currently 1,268 people are receiving treatment.
