Unwanted articles removed, abate medicine used as part of dengue prevention measures in Central Zone in Coimbatore

The corporation sanitary workers upon the orders of the Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore are involved in the disinfection process to prevent dengue.


Coimbatore: Corporation sanitary workers added the abate medicine and removed unwanted objects in the residences in Central Zone as part of dengue prevention works.



Kempatti Colony, Ramar Kovil Street, Kalappan lane under the Central Zone, ward 84 were inspected door-to-door on Saturday and as per the orders of the Corporation Commissioner, abate medicines were added to the water storage tanks in the houses. The sanitary workers involved in dengue prevention subsequently got rid of the unwanted objects.
