Railway police and the security forces on Saturday, as a precaution, conducted a thorough search at the Coimbatore Junction railway station as the Babri masjid demolition anniversary will be observed on 6th December.

The parcels at the parcel offices were checked and the Dhanbad Express was thoroughly checked.

Metal bomb detectors and sniffer dogs were employed to thoroughly examine the railway station and the belongings of the passengers, in view of preventing mishaps during the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary.
