The NCC Day was celebrated on Friday at Sri Ishwar Engineering College in Kinathukadavu to honour the Young Wing. The cadets welcomed the Coimbatore Officer Commanding Lt. Colonel Mani Sharma who was the chief guest. The NCC students who had gathered took a pledge to work towards the betterment of the country and commenced the celebrations.
Rajaram, Director, Sri Ishwar Engineering College and Dr. Sudha Mohanram, Principal presided over the event and the Dean, Karuppasamy greeted the gathering. Officer Commanding Lt. Colonel Mani Sharma who was the chief guest addressed the gathering. This was followed by cultural programs performed by the NCC students.
NCC students and commandos from various colleges from Coimbatore were present on the occasion.
