Coimbatore: Robert Bosch has joined hands with PSG hospitals in these difficult times and has set up oxygen generating plants along with Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC).
According to the press note, Bosch along with Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC) has upgraded the infrastructure facilities at PSG Hospitals Coimbatore, by setting up oxygen generating plants.
“Bosch in partnership with Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC) upgraded the healthcare infrastructure at PSG Hospital by setting up an oxygen generation plant. Bosch has also been at the forefront in supporting the local community in Coimbatore by providing ration supplies, offering livelihood programmes and strengthening health care infrastructure at government hospitals, primary healthcare centers and public charity hospitals.”
“During the second wave of the pandemic, there was a huge spike in demand for Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) and the oxygen supply was centralized through the district administration. Due to increase in the need of oxygen and limitations in the production of medical oxygen, hospitals could not get the required quantity of LMO.”
