Supernet 4G services in Coimbatore by Vodafone


Vodafone has launched its Supernet 4G services in Coimbatore and Tirupur today. They have also offered many benefits as part of the launching the services. This service will help Vodafone customers take advantage of faster downloads and uploads through their mobile phones.



This service will help customers to have a trouble free download or upload of videos and music, video chats and to use of mobile applications with ease. It will also help the customers enjoy video streaming, mobile gaming and twp way video calling. Vodafone is now offering 2G, 3G and 4G services in Tamil Nadu using its own network. Vodafone was the first network to provide international roaming to its customers.

S. Murali, Business Head of Vodafone for Tami Nadu during the launch of the services said, “We are delighted to launch the Vodafone 4G supernet in Tamil Nadu. 4G will revolutionise mobile usage experience. We have received a good response from customers, where our 4G services are already available. Our customer from Coimbatore, Tirupur will enjoy Vodafone’s network experience.”

“The services will be extremely simple for a layman to use. Vodafone has invested Rs.7000 crores for network expansion in Tamil Nadu and has one of the largest 4G networks in India. We have planned to cover 2400 towns in India”

When asked by our reporter whether it is a right time launch 4G services he said, “According to us it is the right time. We are covering all the rural and urban areas. Currently, we have a user base of 1.6 crores in rural market. The share of subscribers of is equally divided among urban and rural markets.” he said.
