The Tamil Nadu Government’s initiative to curb dropouts in schools, the ‘Illam Thedi Kalvi’ Scheme awareness programme was held at a government primary school on Wednesday.
Coimbatore: An awareness programme on the benefits of ‘Illam Thedi Kalvi’ was hosted at the Government Primary School in Kinathukadavu.
A programme to spread the awareness about the importance of the Tamil Nadu Government’s ‘Illam Thedi Kalvi’ initiative was conducted at the Manikandapuram Government Primary School on Wednesday.

Folk artists performed cultural song and dance shows like Karakattam, Thappattam and staged dramas to create awareness among the school children about the need for education.

Panchayat Council President Abhinaya Ashok Kumar, School Education Officer Rajendran, Headmistress Chitra, Volunteer Shakti Saranya and Ward Members and Union Committee members were present on the occasion.
