Case filed against VCK member who spoke obscenely

Thondamuthur, police have registered a case against a Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi administrator for making comments in obscene language and threatening to kill Arputharajan who lodged a complaint with the Thondamuthur police seeking action against those who spoke obscenely to himself and his wife and made death threats.


Coimbatore: In Thondamuthur, police have registered a case against a Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi administrator for making obscene language comments and threatening to kill a 44-year old man. Arputharajan, (44), of Thondamuthur, MGR Nagar has been working as a postman in the postal service.

He and George Kuppusamy, secretary of the VCK who live near his home, have been having a long-standing road problem.

The case is pending in the court. In this case, George Kuppusamy and his wife Sundari often quarrelled with Arputharajan, talked obscenely and threatened to kill him.

Asking to take action against them, Arputharajan tried to set fire at the collector's office yesterday. The police, who were on security duty there, detained him and gave him a piece of advise.

Following this, Arputharajan lodged a complaint with the Thondamuthur police seeking action against those who spoke obscenely to himself and his wife and made death threats.

Thondamuthur police have registered a case against George Kuppusamy and his wife Sundari on three counts of making death threats, using obscene language and abusing a woman.
