The faculties and students of Nirmala College received the saplings and will be planting them to ensure their responsibility towards a green environment.
Coimbatore: 1000 fruit tree saplings were distributed by the Rotary Coimbatore City in association with Nirmala College For Women, Redfields in Coimbatore on Monday.
The management of Nirmala College encouraged students and motivated them to ensure that the environment was kept evergreen. The faculties and students of Nirmala College received the saplings and planted them to assure of their responsibility towards keeping a green environment.
The entire initiative was organised and executed by the Go Green Committee of Nirmala College and the Principal, Sis. Dr. M Helen received the first sapling from the President of Rotary Coimbatore City,Dr. Senthilkumar.
