According to the investigation report, Professor Thirunavukarasu said the screen shot was not his and the student told the committee that the professor had not bothered her in any manner. Therefore, the inquiry committee has informed the college administration to dismiss the petition.
Coimbatore: The College Inquiry Committee has released the findings of the investigation after a former student complained to the college administration that a professor had sent a sexual text message to a student at the Coimbatore Perur Tamil College.
The Committee has announced the outcome of the inquiry into the sexual harassment of Professor Thirunavukarasu at the Coimbatore Perur Tamil College.
The college campus grievance committee, the ICC committee investigated and filed a report. It said, more than an hour of video recordings were given by the student prior to the complaint. The report said that when the complainant was questioned, he was told that there was more than three hours of video and that the complainant did not provide a complete video recording of the issue. It has also been alleged that some of the college teachers did this in order to provoke the students so that Thirunavukarasu would not be in the competition for the post of college principal which was to be held at the college.
