The 26-year old civil engineer was beaten up by his inebriated friends for trying to curb their disturbance while hosting a party at his residence.
Coimbatore: A civil engineer lodged a complaint about his friends after he was attacked over a petty issue during a party.
Siddharth (26), a civil engineer by profession from Bommanampalayam near Vadavalli in Coimbatore hosted a small party at his house on Sunday for his friends. When his inebriated friends began disturbing neighbours, Siddharth reportedly tried to prevent them from doing so which annoyed his friends.
The gang of friends who left on Sunday night arrived at Siddharth’s house on Monday and began arguing. The argument escalated into a fight during which Siddharth was reportedly attacked and suffered injuries especially on his nose.
Ajith Kumar (25), Vignesh (27) and two others were arrested after Siddharth lodged a complaint about them at the Vadavalli police station. The police are on the lookout for the other two persons, Neelaventhan and Hariharan who had absconded.
