The Pollachi East Division Police arrested three youths who attacked an advocate over a petty issue in a bar.
Pollachi: The Pollachi Police have held three men after an advocate files a complaint on the trio for attacking him.
Sathyaraj, (35), son of Balasubramani of Arumugam Nagar area next to Pollachi, Mahalingapuram is a junior lawyer in Pollachi court. Sathyaraj who visited a private club in Chinniyampalayam on Sunday was attacked by a gang who had disputes with the former the night before at the same bar. Sathyaraj who was hit with bricks sustained serious injuries.
The public at the spot rescued the lawyer and admitted him to the Pollachi GH for treatment. Based on the complaint he lodged at the Pollachi East Police Station, the cops registered a case and arrested Vishnu (26), son of Thamilselvan of Pollachi Marapettei, Prashant (23), son of Kumar, and Mohammad Sherif (30), son of Salim. The three were lodged in prison.
Reportedly the gang created a ruckus and was involved in a dispute with Sathyaraj stating that they have never seen him at the club. Sathayaraj had warned them of taking action against them, as the dispute escalated.
