Covid-19 12th mega vaccination drive will be held on 28.11.2021 from 7.00 am at 205 centres in Coimbatore Corporation area as per the order of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special officer Raja Gopala Sunkara said 'the 12th mega vaccine drive will be held on 28.11.2021 from 7.00 am at 205 centres in Coimbatore Corporation areas as per the order of the Government of Tamil Nadu.'
Corporation Commissioner and Special officer Raja Gopala Sunkaraadded, 'More than 94% of the Coimbatore Corporation areas have been vaccinated with the first dose.1,25,000 persons over the age of 18-years in Coimbatore Corporation areas have not been vaccinated against with first dose and 2,34,000 individuals are eligible for the second round of vaccination. (84 days after they receive the first jab of Covishield and 28 days after Covaxin). Those who have been vaccinated are relatively safe. Also 100 percent protection is available.'
The Department of Public Health has announced that only those who have not completed the first dose of the vaccines, those who still have time for the second dose and those who have received the second dose of the vaccine will be allowed in theatres, malls and in other public places.
Therefore, Corporation Commissioner and Special officer Raja Gopala Sunkara said that all those who have not been vaccinated with the first vaccine and those who are eligible for the second vaccination should attend the camp to avail 100 per cent protection.
