The Dean Tirupur Medical College presented certificates of appreciation to AIADMK who have pledged their body. AIADMK was raising awareness on organ donation day today as there is not enough awareness about donating bodies to medical college students for examination.
Coimbatore: November 27 is International Organ Donation Day. On this day, eye donation and organ donation initiatives for the public was organized for the public under the leadership of AIADMK Deputy Secretary, IT wing, Mridula Natarajan, Tirupur West District.
Speaking on the occasion, Mridula Natarajan said that on the eve of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's birthday on February 24, eight AIADMK members pledged their bodies to the Medical College Hospital. She said that AIADMK is raising awareness on organ donation day today as there is not enough awareness about donating bodies to medical college students for examination. Later, the Dean of Tirupur Medical College, Murugesan presented certificates of appreciation to those who have pledged their bodies.
