The bail hearing of Ramesh and Dhanapal in connection with Kodanad murder-cum-heist is adjourned to 23rd of December
Nilgiris:Ramesh’s and Dhanapal’s bail hearing in the Kodanad case is adjourned to 23rd December, in the hearing held yesterday.
Ramesh and Dhanapal, who were arrested in the Kodanad murder cum heist case were produced before the court yesterday. The prosecution objected to granting bail after which the hearing was adjourned to the 23rd of next month.
The murder and robbery case hearing was held on 29th after the police submitted a further inquiry report to the court for the past two months and the trial was adjourned again. The trial was held yesterday and advocate Jagan Kanakaraj appeared on behalf of the prosecution. Additional SP Krishnamurthy DSP Suresh appeared in person and informed about the investigation conducted so far.
The prosecution counsel and the police demanded that bail is not be granted to Dhanapal and Ramesh as the investigation has to be further conducted, following which the trial is adjourned to December 23.
