Two men arrested for selling banned lottery tickets in Pollachi

The District Police arrested two men on Friday for selling the banned lottery tickets in the Anaimalai region, during a patrol.


Pollachi: The District Police arrested two men on Friday for selling the banned lottery tickets in the Anaimalai region, during a patrol.

Sub-Inspector Chinnakamanan, who was patrolling in Anaimalai limits caught hold of two men, Balakrishnan, (50), and Chinnu alias Udhayakumar, (50) of Anaimalai. A total of 163 lottery tickets and ₹.520 in cash were seized from the duo.

The district police is on a constant vigil to nab persons involved in illegal activities as per the District SP’s orders. The SP has also directed the public to inform the police department of such activities through Coimbatore District Police Control Room No. 9498181212 and WhatsApp Number 7708100100
