Salem District Consumer Court Judge Nasir Ahmed and Coimbatore District Consumer Court member S Saraswathi participated in the 'Lok Adalat' through video conferencing as the post of Coimbatore Consumer Court Judge is vacant.
A total of 82 cases were heard through Lok Adalat today, out of which 15 cases were disposed off. Lok Adalat is conducted periodically at the Coimbatore combined court premises. However, in a first the Lok Adalat was held at the Consumer Court in Coimbatore.
