Coimbatore: Puthiya Tamilagam party leader K. Krishnasamy met reporters in Coimbatore today. The Investors Conference on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu was held in Coimbatore on the 22nd and 23rd. The conference is expected to provide employment to 92,000 people.
He said even when Jayalalithaa was the chief minister, contracts of up to Rs 100 crore were signed. He accused the government of not making announcements about new businesses. Coimbatore is losing its business address. There were no announcements at the investor conference to restructure what the industry is lagging behind. Steps should be taken to permanently bring back small businesses to the district.
At the multipurpose conference held in Coimbatore on the 22nd and 23rd, he said that small entrepreneurs were not benefited. He said they have decided to hold a seminar on behalf of the Puthiya Tamilagam Party in the first week of January after consulting small investors. The old condition of Coimbatore and Tirupur districts should be restored and good transport facilities should be established. The Coimbatore-Dindigul road should be converted into a six-lane road or an eight-lane road.
The Coimbatore-Trichy road should also be converted into 8-lane roads. The Pongal gift has been given since 2011. At present, most districts are affected by the rains. It will help if cash of Rs 5,000 is given as a Pongal gift. The sub-inspector who went to catch the thieves was killed in a shocking incident.
