The Govt. luxury bus plying from Bangalore to Coimbatore with 44 passengers on board overturned on the Avinashi National Highway flyover near Tirupur.
Coimbatore: A Tamil Nadu Government luxury bus which was plying from Bangalore to Coimbatore with 44 passengers on board overturned on the Avinashi National Highway flyover near Tirupur, when the driver unexpectedly lost control of the bus.
Of the 44 passengers on the luxury bus, 14 were seriously injured, including 6 women and 8 men. The 10 injured in the accident were admitted to the Government Hospital near Avinashi, while the other four who suffered fractures were moved to the Tirupur Government Hospital for further treatment. The Avinashi police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
