Public is Groupe, a France based digital advertising company has stated that it is planning on expanding hiring in India, in cities including Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Publicis Sapient is expanding its hiring to Coimbatore, MD Sanjay Menon stated in a press release.
The Publicis Sapient, a France based digital transformation Subsidiary, Publicis Groupe is expanding to Coimbatore. The MD Sanjay Menon stated in his press release that cities like Coimbatore offer growing technology talent and the company would like to invest.
The company already has offices in NCR and Bengaluru, they plan to set up micro-offices in potential educational hubs to attract more talent and Coimbatore is the first such initiative. Publicis Sapient aims to staff 200-300 IT professionals by 2022 at its Coimbatore micro office. A spokesperson for the company said that it has already started the process of sourcing and has on boarded candidates while looking to work with local souring partners and institutions.
Publicis Sapient joins the likes of Dell, CTS, Amazon, FORD, Vanenburg, and many more MNCs who have operations in the city since the last decade. The Publicis Groupe is the world’s third-largest advertising and digital business conglomerate. Its expansion to Coimbatore is definitely a sign of the growing potential of Coimbatore as a technology and engineering hub.
It is noteworthy that recently Alstom another French Engineering corporation has expanded its set up in Coimbatore.
